McDonough, GA- Tommy Louis Williams Jr. 49, of 440 Ashton Circle, McDonough, GA passed Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Piedmont Henry Hospital, Stockbridge, GA. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Greater Beallwood Baptist Church, 4419 Sherwood Avenue, Columbus, GA 31904 with Rev. Eric Seldon officiating according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 2919 Hamilton Road, Columbus, GA 31904. Visitation will be today, Friday , January 10, 2014 from 1:00PM-7:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Williams was born on May 16, 1964 to Tommy Louis Williams Sr. and Betty Williams in Yonkers, NY. Tommy became a member of Christian Valley Baptist Church, Cataula, GA as a young teen. He joined the United States Navy at the age of 19 and spent the next 14 years serving his country. After leaving the Navy, Tommy worked as a Loan Officer. At night he would DJ for events. He was known as D.J. T. Will. He later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he began working in production. His final job was at Medline Industries where he had just been promoted to Production Supervisor. Tommy was a lover of life! He loved sports. You could always find him watching his hometown Atlanta Braves, Hawks, or Falcons. Tommy's other love was of his family: His parents, Tommy Louis Williams Sr. and Betty Williams, Cataula, GA; daughters, Bridgette, Jackson, MS and Erica of Virginia; his siblings, Deborah Williams Muhammad, Albany, NY, Tammy Louise Williams Irvin (Therron), Stockbridge, GA, Vincent Williams, College Park, GA, and George Williams (Paulette), Riverdale, GA; nephews and nieces, Terrence P. Williams, Patrick A. Williams, Christopher M. Irvin, Janice E. Irvin, Ashley N. Irvin, Sierra N. Bivins, Sydnee N. Williams, Samantha N. Williams, and George C. Williams Jr.; special friends, Betty Lee, Ashlee Lee and Candace Lee; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends
