GARDNER - Jeannette E. (Gauthier) Olivari, 90, of Gardner died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Heywood Hospital Gardner.
She was born in Baldwinville on September 18, 1922 the daughter of Andrew and Marie (Sentabar) Gauthier.
She attended Templeton High School. Jeannette was a member of the Gardner Golden Agers, AARP 3237; she volunteered at Heywood Hospital and loved to cook, dancing, bowling, basketball and dining out.
She leaves her daughter, Nancy J. Bernier of Rindge, NH; two grandchildren, Meredeth Boudrieau and her husband Dana of Rindge, NH, Marissa Tarrats and her husband Will of Rindge, NH; four great grandchildren, Devon Boudrieau, Derek Boudrieau, Brandon Tarrats and Bryce Tarrats all of Rindge, NH.
She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Olivari who died in 1983, by her son, John R. Olivari who died in 1996, and by her sister, Marion Richards who died in 2011.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 at 1 p.m. in Sacred Heart Church 166 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon St., Gardner.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in her memory to the ALS Association fighting Lou Gehrig's Disease, 315 Norwood Park S., 1st Floor, Norwood, MA 02062.
