Ambrosina J. (Ann) Coache(1924 - 2013)

SHREWSBURY, MASS. - Ambrosina (Ann) J. Coache, 89, of Shrewsbury, Mass., formerly of Marlborough, Mass., and Rindge, passed away on Wednesday evening, Nov. 6, 2013.

Ambrosina, the daughter of the late Pietro (Peter) and Antonetta Diani, was born in Hudson, Mass., on August 4, 1924. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Coache, Jr. of Marlborough, Mass. Ambrosina was raised and educated in Hudson, Mass., attending St. Michael's Academy. She worked as a secretary at Lapointe in Hudson, Mass. Temple's Law Office in Marlborough, Mass. Marlborough Savings Bank, and, after moving to Rindge in 1977, as an Administrative Assistant at Millipore Corporation in Jaffrey. Ambrosina was a talented hand painter, working together with Arthur with his woodworking skills, they became well known in Southern New Hampshire and beyond for their beautiful crafts.

Ambrosina and Arthur moved back to Marlborough, Mass., to the New Horizons assisted living community in 2010. Her most recent residence was at Shrewsbury Crossings assisted living community in Shrewsbury, Mass. She and Arthur were long time members of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Marlborough, Mass., and later at St. Patrick's Parish in Jaffrey.

Ambrosina is survived by her children, Paul A. Coache and his wife, Jean, of Tucson, Ariz., Anne M. Kosh and her husband, Mitchell, of Wilton, Conn., Frances M. Coache of North Attleboro, Mass., Dennis J. Coache and his wife, Theresa, of Sterling, Mass., James P. Coache and his wife, Barbara, of Berlin, Mass., 12 grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Rose Diani of Shrewsbury, Mass., and a brother, Francis P. Diani and his wife, Fran, of Goleta, Calif., and a sister-in-law, Dorothy J. (Coache) Collins of Las Vegas, Nev., as well as several cousins, many nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, 17 Washington Ct. Marlborough Mass, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15.
