Frances A. Hillner, 89, of Hancock, died Sunday evening at her home following a period of failing health.
She grew up in Glen Ridge, NJ, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Clothier) Andersen and had previously resided in Winnetka, IL. and Francistown prior to moving to Hancock twenty five years ago.
Mrs. Hillner is the widow of Bertil G. Hillner who died in 1995. She was a member of All Saint's Episcopal Church in Peterborough, the Hancock Women's Club and the Hancock Historical Society. She enjoyed her flower gardens and was responsible for planting and caring for various flowerbeds in the Town of Hancock.
Survivors include her son Robert Figgis and his wife Mary of Poulsbo, WA; her daughter Jan Dahlheim and husband Charles of Lawrenceville, NJ, as well as two grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Hillner will be private. There are no public calling hours. It has been requested that gifts be made in memory of Mrs. Hillner, to the All Saint's Episcopal Church, 51 Concord Street, Peterborough, NH 03458 or to the Hancock Historical Society, 7 Main Street, Hancock, NH 03449.
