GREENFIELD, NH - Lillian Dichard, 78, died on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Monadnock Community Hospital, after a period of failing health. She was born Greenfield on May 29, 1934, the daughter of Edward Lowe and Elizabeth Elliott Lowe.
Lillian was a life-long resident of Greenfield. She attended Providence Barrington Bible College in Rhode Island. She worked as an assembler for 10 years at The Norton Company in Milford. Lillian enjoyed flowers, listening to the scanner, going to the flea market, playing her accordion and singing.
Her greatest passion was "cooking and booking". She loved cooking for people, especially baking cookies and muffins and having her nose in a good book. Lillian looked forward to getting all dolled up and going cruzin' with her daughter, Darlene to the grocery store in her '64 Thunderbird.
Lillian is survived by her son Anthony Dichard of Greenfield, her daughter Darlene Sweeney of Bennington, her brother Edward Lowe and his wife Joyce, her Aunt Mary Hopps, along with other dearly loved family members.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 11:00AM at Greenvale Cemetery, Forest Road/Route 31 South, Greenfield, NH. Pastor Beth Boisvert will officiate. A reception will follow at Darlene's house located at 2 Balch Farm Road in Bennington.
