NASHUA - Richard J. Busenbark died on September 1, 2013, at his home in Nashua. He was born in Nashua on August 3, 1979, the son of Barbara and Rick Busenbark. He grew up in Peterborough and was a graduate of ConVal High School in 1999. After high school Richard enlisted in the Navy and served four years. After completing his schooling in Pennsacola, FL, he was stationed aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise as a Cryptologic Technician. Known as Rich to his friends, he was a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Oracle Corporation.
Of the many interests Richard had, he enjoyed music and cars the most. One of his favorite activities was going to the New England Drag Way and testing the performance modifications on his much loved Prelude. He enjoyed fine dining and cooking, particularly making cappuccino cheesecake. He also enjoyed socializing with his many friends in the Nashua area.
Richard is survived by his mother, Barbara Busenbark, of Hampton Falls, his brother Michael Busenbark of Rochester, NY, and many other friends and relatives who will miss him dearly.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, September 6, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Divine Mercy Parish, 18 Vine Street, Peterborough, with Monsignor Gerald Belanger presiding. Burial will follow immediately at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sandhill Road, Peterborough.
