MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF SHIRLEY ELLIOTT.

It may not seem it to people around me, but the truth is that I miss u so much! I wasn't around as much as I should have been. You were only 35 miles from me. I should have been there for you more.
You were the best grandmother! Always wise always there to lend an ear or advice. You seen me through the worst of times and the best of times.. and never loved me less. I shut down when you passed away. But I still rolled on. You showed so much support to me through my years. I just wish I could have gave back to you more. Maybe made it up to you for dealing with my young foolish ways. I can't do it in front of you or physically help you anymore. Just know that I am successful and plan on going up in life. Through your love and kindness and the occasional punishment I will grow stronger, laugh harder, cry less and care more!
I Love You Grandmother
Forever & Ever, Amen

You were the single most influential person in my life. Your wisdom was the driving force in finding my passions, and also to be the best I could be at everything I did. You helped me realize that being a perfectionist isn't a bad thing, no matter how annoying it was to those around me. You taught me that it didn't matter what other people thought about me or the man I would eventually become. Coincidently, you're opinion mattered most to me. I took your word for gospel, and I have never regretted that. I will always remember your teachings, and I promise to pass that wisdom down to my daughter, and make sure she knows where it came from. And even as the world, and culture changes dramatically, I know that she will benefit greatly from those lessons of life and love.

I miss you. And that'll never change. I don't believe in God or Heaven. But I sincerely hope they exist for your sake as there is nobody more deserving to spend eternity in a peaceful place. And despite my lack of religious faith, I can only suspect that you're still watching, from somewhere, proud of the values you instilled in me as I apply them to everyday life, today, tomorrow, and so on, until maybe I get to see you again.
