Betsy was a loving wife and mother and, as the daughter of a game warden, she had an appreciation for nature. She enjoyed kayaking, gardening and outdoor photography and during the summer she would enjoy photographing eagles and loons at the family lake house in Hancock, NH. Betsy also took pleasure in feeding seasonal birds at her home and especially enjoyed the arrival of Hummingbirds, Orioles, Cardinals, Robins and Finches.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Finnan, of Stanfordville, NY and her daughter and son in law, Hillary and Matthew Holian of Peterborough, NH.
A life celebration ceremony will be held in Hancock, NH in September. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to either the Stanfordville NY Fire Department or the Peterborough, NH Fire Department.
