Hilda Jeanette Parker, 97, of Millsboro, DE and formerly of Peterborough, died peacefully in her son's home, surrounded by loving family, on May 1, 2013.

Hilda was born in Peterborough, New Hampshire, on February 24, 1916, the daughter of Mary (O'Connell) and Burton Cass.
Hilda went to Peterborough schools and was employed by New Hampshire Ball Bearing as a final inspector for 16 years and Honeywell for 8 years. She lived most of her life in Peterborough, though she lived in Millbridge, ME for 16 years from 1947 - 1963. She was married to Victor Parker, who died in 1958. Hilda enjoyed the outdoors and loved to play bingo.
Hilda is survived by her son, Gary Parker of Millsboro, DE, her grandson Ian Parker of Lusby, MD, her great-granddaughter Zoe Morrigan of Lusby, MD, her sister Celia "CC" Brooks of Peterborough, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her 13 other siblings as she came from a family of 15 children.
A visiting hour will be held on Monday, May 6th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough, immediately followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at the Union Congregational Church, 33 Concord Street, Peterborough, NH.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions can be made in Hilda's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 201 E Dupont Blvd, Millsboro, DE 19966.
