JAFFREY - Marion Rae (Hautanen) Peat, 79, Englewood, Fla. and Henniker, died April 4, 2014.

She was born to Reino and Marion (Bunce) Hautanen in Peterborough, and lived in Jaffrey. She graduated from Jaffrey High School and Concord School of Nursing in New Hampshire. She moved to Henniker, Hillsboro and Antrim.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a 55 year Member of Eastern Star.
She was a nurse for many years at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, and after moving to Englewood in 1990, she was an office nurse for Dr.'s Freemen and Dr. Dave in Venice, Fla.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-laws, Cheryl and John Camara, of Windsor; Sandra and Wally May, of Concord; Donna and Richard Holt, of Antrim and Rotonda West, Fla.; and a dear friend and companion, Ken Hall, of Englewood, Fla. and Henniker.
Grandchildren include, Stacie Barrett, Brandon Sudsbury, Stephanie Jones, Bonnie Poland, Carin Sarzynski, and Rich Holt.
Great Grand children: Bryson, Taveya, Marcus, Ava, Nina, Aislin, Ashlee, Lily, Christopher, Jack and Joey.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Peat and daughter Lucinda Rae Parmenter. She was also preceded in death by her parents Reino and Marion Hautanen and her brother Robert Hautanen.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22 at 2 p.m. at the Maplewood Cemetery, Route 202, Antrim. Reception to follow at the American Legion #59 in Hillsborough.
