Timothy Allen Kervin, 53, of Jaffrey died on March 2, 2013 at The University of San Francisco Medical Center in California. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on October 8, 1959, son of Elizabeth Shaw and Harold Kervin. He attended schools in Connecticut and Essex Jct. Vermont. He was a master electrician and worked for Hitchiner Manufacturing and most recently for Siemens Energy and Automation as a Field Service Engineer.
Timothy was a "jack of all trades" and willingly came to the aid of those who needed assistance. He will be remembered by neighbors and friends as the "ice storm" guy as he helped set up and ensure safe operation of generators during the ice storm of 2008. Timothy enjoyed riding his Harley throughout New England with family and friends. He loved animals , especially his dogs; Kane, Sebastian and Charley. Timothy was a member of the United Church of Jaffrey and contributed to renovations and groundskeeping there.
He was predeceased by his parents as well as his stepmother, Susan Bingham of Burlington Vermont. Survivors include his ex wife, Tina L. Stevens of Keene; one daughter, Alyssa L. Kervin of Keene; his stepfather Dana Oliver of Holton Maine; his sisters, Patricia Finley of Asheville North Carolina, Regina Wilson of Charleston South Carolina, and Brenda Kervin of Meriden Connecticut; as well as several neices, nephews, grandneices and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will take place on April 27, 2013 at his home in Jaffrey. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Timothy's memory to The Monadnock Humane Society in Swanzey New Hampshire.
