Mike spent his adult life as a heavy equipment operator working for the last 15 years for S.R. Jones Excavation in Antrim. He was quite proud of his work but also lamented the fact that he had to, at times, tear down what Mother Nature had created. He really loved the outdoors and spent much of his time camping, fishing and canoeing. Mike spent most of his life in the Hillsborough/Antrim area. Aside from Mike's job, family, and the people he loved, he also loved to dance, the sound of bagpipes, and wildlife (especially Cheetahs).
He has been described by those close to him as having a huge heart and was a humble, thoughtful, caring man who had a great sense of humor and was quick to laugh - even at himself.
Mr. Dugrenier is survived by his son, Andrew, his mother, Laura Johnson, of Bedford, his siblings, Annette Carrier, and significant other, Martin Daly, of Pembroke, Diane Case of New York, Michelle Parker, and her husband, Jeffery, of Claremont, Patrick and his wife, Pamela, of Milford, and his long-time love, Kathy Mackey, of Antrim. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a gathering of friends and family to remember Michael on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home, 32 School St., Hillsborough. Donations to help the family pay for services can be sent to his sister, Annette Carrier, 79 Broadway Street, Pembroke N.H. 03275. For more information please contact www.holtwoodburyfh.com.
