PETERBOROUGH - Kenneth D. Ypya, 70 died peacefully at Pheasant Wood Nursing Facility. Kenny was born in Peterborough, and grew up in "Highbridge", New Ipswich and lived in the Greenville and New Ipswich area all his life.

Kenny is survived by: mother, Roseanna (Vincent) Rousseau, Greenville; brother, Richard Ypya, Ballground Ga.; sister, Linda Gagnon, Colorado Springs, Colo.; nieces, Debbie Bouley, Greenville; CathyAnn Vaillancourt, Greenville; Tammy Frisby, Collinsville Ill.; Julie Gagnon, Colorado Springs, Colo.; nephews, Michael Ypya, Milford; Glen Gagnon, Colorado Springs Colo.; Dale Gagnon, Colorado Springs Colo.; Dennis Gagnon, Colorado Springs Colo.; and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father Lenne Ypya; brother and sister-in-law, Roland and Eleanor (Levesque) Ypya; stepfather, Aime Rousseau; brother-in-law, Paul Gagnon; sister-in-law, Brenda Ypya and nephew, George Davis.

Kenny was a private man, however, loved to play cards and checkers, watching Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and WW Raw. Kenny loved his music, anything from the oldies to Pointer Sisters. He liked history, was excellent at remembering dates and cherished those who were close to him.

Kenny worked at Bates Corrugated, Townsend Mass.; Warwick Mills, New Ipswich and Pioneer Plastics, Greenville.

Graveside services will be held later in the spring at the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery in New Ipswich. We would like to have an informal sharing of memories at the Panda Wok on Saturday, April 12 at about 5 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Keystone Hall 615 Amherst Street, Nashua N.H. 03063 or Pheasant Wood Center 50 Pheasant Rd, Peterborough, N.H. 03458.
