NEW IPSWICH - Jean-Marc Joseph Baril, 75, of New Ipswich, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ste. Elizabeth de Warwick, Quebec to Thomas and Gertrude Baril, he lived his entire adult life in New Ipswich.
Jean-Marc was a gifted gardener and craftsman who took great pride in the homes he had owned. He loved classic automobiles, particularly Camaro's and El Camino's. In 1961 he enlisted in the United States Army and served for six years. He was honorably discharged in 1967 and worked at Simond's Cutting Tools until his retirement in 2000.
Jean-Marc's greatest joy was time spent with his wife and family at his "paradise" in New Ipswich. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla with whom he enjoyed 24 beautiful years of marriage.
Jean-Marc lives on in his five children, Gisele and her husband, David of New Ipswich; Rochelle and her husband, Randy of Norway, Maine; Geoff of Scarborough, Maine; Laura and her husband, Gary of Escondido, Calif.; and, Kurt and his wife, Elaine of Sunapee.
