BENNINGTON - Joan Mary (Wilson) (MacNutt) Putnam, 63 of Bennington died Feb. 9, 2014, at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough.

Joan was born in Peterborough Feb. 10, 1950, the daughter of Maurice and Isabel (Dodge) Wilson.
Joan is survived by her two sons, Ron MacNutt of Oakdale, Calif. and Randy MacNutt of Owensville, K.Y.; four grandchildren: Megan, Ryan, Justin and Adrianna. Also survived and will be greatly missed by her husband of 23 years, James Putnam, of Bennington, her step-children Douglas Putnam, Delia (Putnam) Fey, William Putnam McCoy, Leanne Putnam and half brother James Dodge. Several nieces and nephews.
Among Joan's jobs were those as manager of Godin's, N.E.B.S and N. H. Ball Bearing.
She loved her Harley Davidson, logging many miles and was a lifetime HOG member. Past president of the Bennington VFW Post # 8268 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved going to Maine, for the Haddock at Fisherman's Catch Restaurant and viewing Nubble Lighthouse. She will be sorely missed by her dog Autumn.
She was predeceased by her parent's, her step-mother Inez (Dodge) Wilson and her brother, Maurice Wilson, Jr.
Services will be held Saturday Feb. 15, 2014, at 3 p.m. in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service 32 School St Hillsboro, NH.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VFW Post # 8268, c/o of Commander Steve Campbell, Bennington, N. H. 03442.
