William Lonell Daughtry, 81, of Phenix City, Alabama, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a maintenance department employee at Columbus Carpet Mills before his retirement, died at The Medical Center on Tuesday, July 8, 2003. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 11, 2003, 6-8 p.m., at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th Street, Phenix City. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2 p.m., at Golden Acres Assembly of God Church, officiated by Rev. Joe Strickland, Rev. Thomas Wade, and Rev. Frances Corbin. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home, Phenix City, Alabama.
