Richard K. Miller Sr.

1947 - 2021

Richard K. Miller Sr., 74, of Cyclone, passed away on Sunday (Dec. 5, 2021) at his home.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1947, in Bradford, a son of the late Donald and Virginia Skiver Miller.
On Feb. 22, 1970, he married Mary Lou Bradford, who preceded him in death on April 18, 1993.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
He was employed by the Bradford Township Sanitation Department for 29 years until his retirement.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by one daughter, Bobbi Jo Miller of Cyclone; two sons, Jerry (Tammy) Barrett of Lewis Run and Richard Miller Jr. of South Mountain; one brother, John Miller of Bradford; one sister, Linda (Forrest) Seeley of Limestone, N.Y.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; longtime companion, Lillian Burgeson of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by two sons, Theodore Bradford and Douglas Miller; one grandson, Chad Yount; one brother, Ronald Skiver; and two sisters, Nancy Osborne and Donna Meeks.
A funeral service will be announced at a later date.
Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
