Colleen N. Stayer Obituary
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Colleen N. Stayer, 25, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Leo, Ind.
She was born Dec. 24, 1991, in Detroit, Mich., to Jeffrey Irvine and Tina Coil, and they both survive in Adrian, Mich. She was a 2010 graduate of Northside High School and was a member of the St. Joseph United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Stayer was a homemaker and also delivered newspapers for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette and Fort Wayne News-Sentinel. She married Jamie L. Stayer on April 19, 2011, in Fort Wayne, and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Gabbriella Stayer and Annastazia Stayer, both at home; five sisters, Rebecca (Michael) Sharpe of Detroit, Christina Irvine of Fort Mills, S.C., Sandra (Kyle) Norton of Deerfield, Kimberly (Jason) Almeida of Adrian and Emily Irvine of Titusville, Fla.; five brothers, Michael Martin of Las Vegas, Nev., Carl Legg of Adrian, James (Joni) Legg of Adrian, Raymond (Amanda) Legg of Sand Creek and Kyle Irvine of Adrian; her grandfather, Russ Musgrove of Farmland, Ind.; foster father, Jeremy Cleckner of Angola, Ind.; foster mother-in-law, Shirley Roose of Fort Wayne; mother-in-law, Brenda Stayer of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Bonnie Musgrove, and father-in-law, Robert Williford.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at St. Joseph United Methodist Church, 6004, Reed Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. The Rev. Matt Bock will be officiating. Burial will take place in Leo Cemetery. Visitation will also be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
