ADRIAN - Joyce H. Crawford, age 85, of Adrian passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at the Life Care Center in Plainwell, Mich. She was born June 27, 1933, in Blytheville, Ark., the youngest of the 11 children of William and Ollis (Cannon) Crim. She was married to Lyle W. Faylor, who preceded her in death. In 1990, she married Eugene "Bud" Crawford, who also preceded her in death.
Joyce worked at Big Lots in Adrian for many years. She was a member of the Adrian Church of Christ. Joyce was also an active member of AA for more than 40 years where she participated in the Sunshine Group. She was known as Queen of the Red Hatters.
Joyce is survived by her children, Nicky (Susan) Faylor of Texas, Vivian (Albert) Hulshof of Adrian and Wesley (Cindy) Faylor of Somerset Center; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at Adrian Church of Christ with the minister Bruce Blanton officiating. Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
