NORMAN CASE

LIMA — Norman E. Case, 86, passed away at 10 a.m. October 28, 2013 at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born on November 21, 1926, in Lima, to John Henry & Bertha Korell Case, who have preceded him in death. On November 24, 1951, he married Catherine A. Miller, who survives in Lima.

During World War II, Norman served with the Army in the Philippines and South Pacific. He then became a member of the 7th Air Force, 7th Night Fighter Squadron. Mr. Case was a farmer, who also retired from Superior Coach, a division of Sheller Globe. Norman was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 73, Wapakoneta.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters.

A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Interment will follow in Salem Westminster Cemetery with military rites by the VFW Post 1275. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the DAV #73, 712 N. Dixie Hwy; Wapakoneta, OH 45895. Condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com
