Vivian spent her married life as a wife and mother. She loved nature and animals and passed on this love to all her children. She also enjoyed hiking and golf. As a young woman, Vivian was one of the best female bowlers in Toledo. And her golfing ability was outstanding and included getting six hole-in-ones in sanctioned play. Vivian also enjoyed volunteering as a physical education teacher at her children's elementary school. Later in life she and Al loved visiting the national parks. In recent years, she enjoyed her life and friends at Wesley Glen Retirement Community, including her exercise classes, library visits and playing scrabble online with her Colorado family members. Through it all she was an avid, lifelong reader and wonderfully independent. Vivian's family sends a special thanks to her friends and caregivers at Wesley Glen and to the Kobacker House staff for their kindness and support. A memorial Mass for Vivian will take place in Toledo at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vivian's memory to either Wesley Glen Retirement Community, 5155 N.
