Keiber, Robert - Wapakoneta  
ROBERT KEIBER WAPAKONETA — Robert E. "Bob" Keiber, 89, of Wapakoneta, died 6:34 a.m., Nov. 23, 2014, at the Wapakoneta Manor. He was born July 11, 1925, in Auglaize Co., the son of Earl William & Hazel (Wellington) Keiber, who preceded him in death. On March 27, 1948, he married Billie L. Wolfe, and she survives. Other survivors include, a daughter, Nancy (Don) Hinkle, Lima, 3 grandchildren, Jennifer (Bill) Wapplehorst, Wapakoneta, Dustin Hinkle, Darren (Amy) Hinkle, both of Lima, a great grandson, Dallan Robert Hinkle, 2 sisters-in-law, June Keiber, Wapakoneta, Margaret "Peg" (Robert) Walti, Waynesfield, He was preceded in death by a brother, Ned. Robert worked as a lay-out engineer with Westinghouse Corp., Lima, for 20 years. He later worked as assistant director of operations at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, where he served as a 2nd Lieutenant and pilot during W.W. II. A 1943 graduate of Blume High School, Bob was a 1949 graduate of Miami University with a degree in aeronautical engineering. He was also a member of the Hamer Lodge #167, F. & A.M., Wapakoneta. He enjoyed growing and caring for roses, and in his younger years he enjoyed taking his grandchildren on trips. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wed. Nov. 26, 2014 at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Mark Bauer officiating. Burial is to follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, with military rites by the Wapakoneta V.F.W. Post #8445. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Tues. at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home and Cremations Services, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, where a Masonic memorial service will be 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Macular Degeneration Research. Kemper, Eileen - Ottoville  
EILEEN KEMPER OTTOVILLE — Eileen Kemper, 77, of Cloverdale, died 4:10 a.m. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at The Meadows of Kalida. She was born February 11, 1937 in Cuba to the late Alfred and Philomena (Vennekotter) Rieman. On June 3, 1961 she married Joseph E. Kemper who died July 3, 2002. Eileen is survived by her 2 sons: Roger (Holly) Kemper of Cloverdale and Dan (Stephanie) Kemper of Ottoville; 6 grandchildren: Eliza Scheblo, Alayna Kemper, Alysia Kemper, Mila Kemper, Riley Kemper and Layne Kemper; a brother: Virgil (Mary Lou) Rieman of Glandorf and a sister: Margaret (Virg) Niese of Leipsic; 7 In-laws: Arnold Kemper, Isidore Kemper, Theresa Kramer, Agnes Ostendorf, Lucille Lammers, Ruth Johnson and Mary Kemper. Eileen is preceded in death by 8 In-Laws: Henry Kemper, Leo Kemper, Lawrence Kemper, Alphonse Kemper, John Kemper, Frances Muzechuck, Bertha Gasser and Amelia Burdg. Eileen was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville; its Altar Rosary Society and took care of the church religion articles and volunteered at church in many ways. She was a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and volunteered at area nursing homes. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville with Fr. Jerome Schetter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Twp., where a scripture service will be at 2 p.m. Memorials may be given to the charity of donor's choice. Kiracofe, Mary - Cairo  
MARY KIRACOFE CAIRO — Mary Ellen Kiracofe, 78, died November 18, 2014, at 4:55 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio. She was born March 20, 1936, in Cairo to James Sheldon and Mary R. (Best) Brenneman. They both preceded her in death. On May 1, 1955, she married Donald "Don" Kiracofe, and he survives in Cairo, Ohio. Mrs. Kiracofe had attended Cairo School and graduated from Columbus Grove High School. She was a member of the Cairo United Methodist Church, where she was instrumental in the "Prayer Shawl Ministry." Mary Ellen volunteered for many years at the Et Cetera Shop, in Bluffton. She enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, reading and she also liked to "play in her flower and vegetable gardens". Mary Ellen, in her younger years, enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with her family in Michigan, fishing on the pontoon and spoiling her grandchildren. She is also survived by a son: William "Bill" Kiracofe, Bluffton; a daughter: Rose E. McOwen, Beaverdam; a sister: Sharon Reese, Cairo; four grandchildren: Aaron (Christina) McOwen, Nicole (Brian) Wingate, Holly McOwen and Sarah McOwen; five great grandchildren: Kylee, Kaiden, Bella, Landen and Nathan. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Carolyn E. Kiracofe; a son in-law: Robert "Bob" McOwen and a brother: James Brenneman. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Greg Coleman will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Cairo Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, November 20, 2014, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cairo-Monroe Township Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department, Cairo United Methodist Church, or the American Heart Association. Knoch, Bill - Uniopolis  
BILL KNOCH UNIOPOLIS — Bill G. Knoch, age 81 of Uniopolis, died at 2:39 a.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born November 19, 1933 in Auglaize County; the son of the late Clay W. and Anna Catherine (Morris) Knoch. He married Audrey Evelyn Fox on August 7, 1954, who survives. Mr. Knoch was a retired truck driver with H.S. Davies, Scott Lad, and Roundy's, and was a member of the Crossroads Church of God. He is a U. S. Army Veteran and a former member of the Waynesfield F. & A. M. He was a lifetime member of the Ohio Quarter Horse Racing Association. He served on the OQHRA Board of Trustees for 10 years. He worked as a stewart in OH, KY, IN, WY, OK, NM, and MI. He was also active with the Auglaize County Fair Gospel Sing Tent. He started and operated the Classic Music Hall in Uniopolis. He also enjoyed wood working. He is also survived by 2 sons – Jeff (Vicki) Knoch of Uniopolis; Keith (Rita) Knoch of Uniopolis; 6 grandchildren – Danielle (Aaron) Tomlinson, Zeb Knoch, Heather (Joseph) Huelskamp, Linsey (Fiancee' Nicholas Paul) Knoch, Kala Knoch, Dylan Knoch; also like grandchildren to Bill were Xavier Kiefer and Kelsie Kiefer; a great granddaughter – Emily Tomlinson; 6 brothers – Clay Knoch of Uniopolis, Brooks (Jeanette) Knoch of Wapakoneta; Ted (Jeanne) Knoch of Uniopolis; Rex (Sharon) Knoch of Uniopolis; Tom (Barbara) Knoch of Wapakoneta; Dick Knoch of St. Johns; 2 sisters – Georgia Lou Lee of Wapakoneta; Lucille (Joe) Bell of Wapakoneta. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers – Morris Knoch and Allen Wayne Knoch; 1 sister – Glenna Horman. Memorial services will begin 2:30 p.m., Sunday at Crossroads Church of God, 775 S. Thayer Road, Lima OH 45806 with Pastor Tim Hubbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, and one hour prior to services at the church on Sunday. OPAL KORTE KALIDA — Opal Ruth Korte, 82, formerly of Kalida died 8:48 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at Van Crest of Van Wert. She was born May 25, 1932 in Cloverdale to the late Ray and Flossie (Shirey) Miller. On May 25, 1952, she married George Eldon Morris who died January 10, 2009. She married Norbert J. Korte on August 19, 1978 who died May 22, 2010. Opal is survived by her 5 children: Jeff (Kathy) Morris of Wapakoneta, Philip (Linda) Morris of Houston, TX., Barbara (Tim) Pendergast of Van Wert, Dwight (Ellen) Morris of Fremont and Doug (Mindy) Morris of Gibsonburg; 4 step-children: Donna (Robert) Prowant of Ottawa, Linda (Mark) Maag of Columbus Grove, Diane Korte of Waukegan, IL., and Roger Korte of Mandale; a sister: Jessie Morris of Pandora; a brother: Johnnie (Carrie) Miller of Pandora; a step-son-in-law: John Simco of Fremont; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death a daughter: Debbie Morris Newell; 3 sisters: Velma Miller, Jean Miller, Fae Thomas and a brother, Clarence Miller. She loved to embroider, crochet and do puzzle books. Opal also babysat for lots of area children. A funeral service will begin 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Kalida. Visitation will begin Monday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
