Taylor, Michael - Lima  
MICHAEL TAYLOR LIMA — Michael E. 'Mike' Taylor, age 56 of Lima, died at 4:20 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima. He was born January 15, 1959 in Lima, Ohio. He is the son of the late Charles Hudson Taylor and Jean Louise Wagner Shafer, who survives in Lima. Mr. Taylor was a horse trainer and had worked in the plumbing department at Home Depot. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 96, the U.S. Trotter's Association, and trained horses at the Allen County Fair Grounds. He is also survived by a son – Joe Taylor of Lima; a brother – Robert Taylor of Kuwait; a sister – Paula Patton of Lima; a nephew – Richie Patton, two nieces – Ashley Patton, Lisa Bruggeman; great nieces and nephews – R.J. Devun, Bayleigh, Danaisha Patton; Antwain and Antaisha Adams; and Braylee and Ruger Bruggeman. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hepatitis C. Teeters, Allison - Delphos  
ALLISON TEETERS DELPHOS — Allison K. Teeters, 47, of Delphos, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center. Her Family…. She was born October 23, 1967 in Lima to David and Glenna (Buzard) Hammond, both preceded her in death. On October 15, 2005 she married Jack Teeters, who survives in Delphos. She is also survived by a son, Austin Teeters of Delphos; two grandsons, Bowen and Colten Teeters; a brother, Larry (Shirley) Hammond of Delphos; two sisters, Cindy (Mitch) Smith of Harrod and Vicky Hammond of Delphos; a mother-in-law, Margaret Farmer of Norwalk; brother-in-law, Hugh (Darlene) Teeters of Norwalk; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Hammond and Phillip K. Hammond. Her Legacy…. Allison worked at the Community Health Care Professionals. She was a 1986 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School. Her Farewell Services.… A celebration of Allison's life will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27 at Strayer Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, and one hour before the time of services on Wednesday at Strayer Funeral Home. Thrasher, Eunice - Riverside  
EUNICE THRASHER KALIDA — Eunice A. Thrasher, 92, of Kalida, went home to be with Jesus at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Community Health Professionals Hospice, Van Wert. She was born May 23, 1922 in New Cleveland to the late Aloysius and Ethel (Cooley) Schroeder. On September 18, 1954 she married Ivan E. Thrasher who preceded her in death on July 5, 1991. She is survived by a daughter: Lori A. (David) Rienstra of Grand Junction, CO; 2 grandchildren: Drew Rienstra of Johannesburg, South Africa and Katie (Jody) Bailey of Grand Junction CO; 2 great-grandchildren: Alexia and Owynn Bailey; 3 brothers: George (Ruth) Schroeder and Clyde (Joan) Schroeder both of Ottawa, and Fr. Kenneth J. Schroeder of Carthagena; a sister-in-law: Jean F. Schroeder of Ottawa; especially devoted niece and caretaker, Cindy Altaffer; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Maurice and Richard Schroeder; and 2 sisters: Mary Eileen Schmidt and Janice Maag. Eunice graduated from Glandorf High School in 1940 and from St. Rita's School of Nursing in 1943. In 1950 she moved to southern California where she worked for 20 years at the Riverside Medical Clinic retiring in 1988. In 1997 she moved back to Ohio. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Kalida and its Rosary Altar Society. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America in Riverside, CA. Happy Birthday in Heaven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 25, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Kenneth Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ottawa. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a rosary at 7:00 p.m., and from 9:30 to 10:30, Monday at the church. Town, Dorothy - Bluffton  
DOROTHY TOWN BLUFFTON — Dorothy Faye Town, 83 passed away May 22, 2015 at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. Dorothy was born January 16, 1932 in Tippecanoe, Indiana to the late Charles and Donnis (Smith) Fisher. On October 18, 1951 she married Robert Town and he survives. Dorothy was an amazing homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing, her flowers and was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School in Indiana. Survivors also include three daughters Laura M. (Patrick James) Lenhard of Honor, MI, Rhonda L. (Chris) Wenger of Bluffton, Robin J. (Paul) Miller of Bluffton; two grandsons David Miller and Benjamin Wenger; two granddaughters Jessica (Lane) Oberly and Emily Wenger; two great grandsons Tradd Miller and Grayson Oberly; a sister Lena Coplen of Bourbon, IN; and a daughter-in-law Donna Town of Elburn, IL. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son David R. Town; a grandson Joshua Chidester; and a sister Marge Buswell. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Kim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. A fellowship meal will follow the graveside service at First United Methodist Church, Bluffton. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice or to the charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com .
