Hance, Marilyn - Cridersville  
MARILYN HANCE CRIDERSVILLE — Marilyn J. Hance, age 87, passed away August 29, 2015, at 4:57 am, at the Lima Memorial Health System. Marilyn was born September 4, 1927 in Lima, OH, to the late Harold and Lorena C. (Brunswick) Routson. On December 3, 1947 she married Robert K. Hance who preceded her in death on November 10, 2010. Marilyn was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved to play games and cards with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling to Las Vegas. Marilyn will be remembered as being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Pamela (William) Lawson, a daughter, Katherine "Kate" (Randy) Duff, a son, R. Daniel Hance, a son, Michael James (Trista) Hance, a son, Jeffrey (Peggy) Hance, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a brother, Donald (Theresa) Routson and a sister, Dee (Wayne) Terry. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Curl, a daughter-in-law, Alva Gay Hance, a sister, Jeanette Johns, a sister, Geraldine Muzleski, a sister, Connie Woodell, a brother, Robert Routson and a sister, Shirley Jean Goedde. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Lima. Officiating the service will be Rev. Kent Wilson. Burial will be in Bluelick Cemetery following the service. Friends may call at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Hashbarger, Lee - Lima  
LEE HASHBARGER LIMA — Lee Hashbarger, 88, died at 4:29 a.m. Aug. 18, 2015. He was born Jan. 4, 1927, in Defiance to Harold and Margaret Brown Hashbarger, who preceded him in death. In 1959, he married Margit Spielmann in Berlin, Germany, and she survives in Lima. They were married for 56 years. Mr. Hashbarger was a World War II veteran. He joined the U.S. Navy in March 1944 and served in the Pacific on the USS Bataan. In 1946, he was a part of the "Goodwill" tour, which took him and his ship to several countries around Africa and Europe. From October 1946 to March 1947, he was part of Operation Highjump at Little America IV in Antarctica, serving under Admiral Richard E. Byrd. He left the Navy in 1950 and immediately enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served from 1950 to 1953 and again from 1956 to 1960, both tours in England and Germany. After returning to the U.S., he was chief photographer at The Lima News from 1960 to 1964, cinematographer at Austin Productions from 1964 to 1968 and electronics technician at United Telephone Co. (now CenturyLink) from 1968 until his retirement in 1994. Surviving also include a daughter, Sonya (Nathan) Osting, of Delphos; a brother, Ned Hasbarger; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Hashbarger; a daughter, Linda Hashbarger; a sister, Marian Hashbarger Pierce; and three brothers, Robert Hashbarger, Kenneth Hashbarger and infant Richard Hashbarger. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Marion Township Cemetery, Hamler. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home in Columbus Grove. HEGEMIER CELINA — Mildred A. Hegemier, 83, died at 8:45 p.m. Aug. 28, 2015, at her residence. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys. Pastor Tony Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Henderson, Marguerite - Wapakoneta  
MARGUERITE HENDERSON WAPAKONETA — Marguerite F. Henderson, 96, of Wapakoneta, dies 4:50 a.m., Thurs. Aug. 27, 2015, at Otterbein-Cridersville. She was born Feb. 17, 1919, in Shelby Co., the daughter of Harry & Laura Belle (Rose) Faulder, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 31, 1937, she married Robert E. Henderson, and he preceded her in death by Jan. 4, 1974. Survivors include, 4 children, Robert K. (Marsha) Henderson, Wapakoneta, Richard E. (Chris) Henderson, Celina, Bruce A. (Rose) Henderson, Sidney, Susan D. Henderson, Jackson Center, 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kantner, Wapakoneta, She was preceded in death by a great grandchild, 2 brothers, Donald & LaVerne, and 3 sisters, Myrtle Mertz, Blanche and Mabel Faulder. A homemaker, Marguerite worked at Geren's IGA, Wapakoneta, in the meat department. She was a member of the Santa Fe Christian Union Church and the Wapakoneta Church of Nazarene. She loved her church and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, and tending to her flowers. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Mon. Aug. 31, 2015, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Robert R. Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson, OH. The family will receive friends from 1-5 p.m., Sun. and 1 hr prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or to a charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be expressed at www.bayliffandeleyfh.com .

HOMAN NEW BREMEN — Ben P. Homan, 19, died in the early morning hours of Aug. 23, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen. The Rev. Robert Hadden, Deacon Greg Bornhorst, and Deacon Jerry Buschur will officiate. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Parish Center of Holy Redeemer and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, at which time the rosary will be recited. Huber, Montzell - Wapakoneta  
MONTZELL HUBER WAPAKONETA — Montzell M. 'Monie' Huber 87, of Wapakoneta, passed Sunday Aug. 23 at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born February 29, 1928 in Elida, Ohio to the late Homer F. and Cecile F. Rigdon Miller. She married Herman E. Huber Feb. 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death April 10, 2005. Monie had worked for 20 years in the Northridge and Blume Elementary school cafeterias. She enjoyed sewing and craft projects of all kinds and the grand children knew that she'd always have a special craft for them at holiday time. Monie and Herman celebrated their retirement years by traveling throughout North America. She was a former member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wapak. She is survived by her children Steven (Barb) Huber, Deborah (Myron) Elsass, Susan (James) Bauer and Greg (Denise) Huber, the proud grandmother of Benjamin (Christina), Erin, Melissa (Scott), Matt and Andrew, step grandmother to: Erica, Candace and Royce (Cassie), great grandmother to: Sydney, Grayson, Lennon, Krew and Amelia, sister to Homer (Dorothy) Miller. Monie was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Norman, Don and Larry Miller and 3 sisters: Sylvia Townsend, Helen Wilkins and Cheryl Heath. Memorial services will begin 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with Pastor Joy Miller officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services, private burial will be later. Memorial contributions may be given to Johnny Appleseed Metro Parks or the Auglaize County Humane Society 733 Keller Dr., Wapakoneta. Give us two rings, Monie.

Hughes, Andrew - Wapakoneta  
ANDREW HUGHES WAPAKONETA — Andrew J. Hughes, 42, of Wapakoneta, passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 due to an auto accident in rural Mercer County. He was born November 21, 1972 in Springfield, Ohio to Calvin and Georgeanne (Hall) Hughes. His father, Calvin preceded him in death. His mother survives him in Springfield. Andrew was married on July 25, 2009 to Melessia A. Holman and she survives him. Other survivors also include his children: Andrew J. Hughes, Chloe Hughes, Lynan Holman, Lillian Hughes and his siblings: Lewis (Lee Ann) Hughes of Lima and Nancy Smith of Springfield. Mr. Hughes had been employed as a carpenter for Guth Construction. Funeral services will begin 5:00 p.m., Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME with Rev. David J. Burkhart officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Seaman, Ohio. Family and friends may call Monday, from Noon until 2 and 3-5 p.m. in the funeral home.
