William Vorhees Obituary
WILLIAM VORHEES
COLUMBUS GROVE — William P. "Big Bill" Vorhees, 49, of Columbus Grove, passed away on May 5, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on February 13, 1966 in Lima to Floyd T. "Tom" Vorhees, who preceded him in death and Sandra Lee (McCandless) Vorhees, who survives in St. Mary's. On June 24, 2001, he married Ann Deubler, who survives in Columbus Grove.
Bill loved his children, especially watching them play basketball.
Surviving are his four sons Vincent (Danielle Barnes) Williams, William Vorhees, Gavin Vorhees, Anthony Vorhees, all of Columbus Grove; his four daughters Madison Vorhees, McKenna Vorhees, Marek Vorhees all of Columbus Grove and Ashley Williams of Lima; his five granddaughters; his two brothers Floyd Thomas (Lauri) Vorhees, Jr. of Cridersville, Norman D. (Shug) Vorhees of Lima; his two sisters Tamara J. (Rob) Montague of St. Mary's and Jacalyn R. Vorhees-Owens of Lima; his three brother-in-laws Richard (Jodi) Deubler of Lima, Derrick Irons, Sr. of Lima and Fred Owens II of Las Vegas, NV; his father-in-law Richard Deubler of St. Mary's; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES EASTSIDE CHAPEL where funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Words cannot express the heartbreak and sorrow that I feel over Bill's passing. I thank you for all the great times that we shared together, I will hold onto those memories forever. My condolences go out to your family. Bill was a good man and would always come out and goof off with us at Ed's basketball court. He taught me alot of things not only in basketball but life. He will be missed deeply

Ann, you have my deepest condolences on Bill's passing. May God comfort you during this time. I'll always have the great memories over the years from playing basketball at midnight when you were a youngster to enjoying a cookout and each other's company. Enjoy heaven my friend....
