LANCE PRINE

VAN WERT — Lance T. Prine, 64, died at 4:15 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.

Lance was born on September 1, 1949, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Donald and Martha (Thomas) Prine. On December 02, 1967, he married Jean (Boyed) Prine who survives in Lima.

He enjoyed fishing and antiques, and loved his grandchildren dearly watching with pride as they played soccer and baseball.

He also served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Ranger during the Vietnam War. He was a 1967 graduate of Lima Senior High School.

He is survived by: sons, Scott (Lisa) Prine, Columbus, OH. and Robert (Ashley) Prine, Wapakoneta, OH; brother, Bryon Prine; one sister Dianna (Ben) Kalb, Broken Arrow, OK; and half brother Craig Thomas. Also surviving are grandchildren, Nathan, Alex, Zayne, many nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews. Also by loving in-laws: Betty & Denny Pierce of Lima, OH, Kay & Tim Andrews of Belle Center, OH, Karen & Bill (Deceased) Boyed of Wapakoneta, OH, Jeanne & Jim (Deceased) Boyed of Lewis Center, OH. Also Ray & Hazel Boyed (Both Deceased) father & Mother-in-law who loved him as their own son. They shared a love for the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on September 5th, 2014. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 3:00 P.M. on September 5th, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
