RICHARD GEYER
LIMA — Richard H. 'Dick' Geyer age 89, of Lima died 1:40 a.m., Wednesday April 22, 2015 at Shawnee Manor.
He was born November 29, 1925 in Huntington, IN to the late Cleo George 'Jack' and Naomi Houchin Geyer. He married Sara Anne 'Sally' Greiwe June 15, 1947 and she survives in Lima.
Mr. Geyer had been a regional sales manager for Aerovent Fan Co. and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He was also a member of Lodge 706, F & A.M. and Lima Elks. He enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and being with people. He had served in the Navy during WW II.
Additional survivors include 4 children: Pam (Rick) Callahan of Lima, Michael (Beverly) Geyer of Hillard, Deb (Bob) Lehman of Lima and Anne (Terry) Kuney of Powell, 9 grandchildren: Michael (Mollie) Callahan, Molly (Joe) Higgins, Chris (Carrie) Callahan, Ashley (Brian) Chrencik, Kerri Geyer, Jayme (Ryan Kerns) Lehman, Andrew Lehman, Ben Kuney and Sarah Kuney, 10 great grandchildren and a brother-in-law Lewis Niece of Hot Spring, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Geyer, Sister: Dortha Jean Niece, brother-in-law Robert Greiwe and a sister-in-law Nancy Greiwe.
The family will have a gathering at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 25 from 10 to 11 a.m. and the memorial service will follow at 11 with Pastor James C. Couser officiating and military rites will be observed by V.F.W. Post 1275.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Matthew Lutheran Church 5050 St. Matthew Drive Lima, Ohio 45806.
