OTTAWA — Susan K. Salisbury, 64, formerly of Columbus Grove, died at 6:05 p.m. Oct. 27, 2013, at St. Rita's Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf.

She was born Nov. 4, 1948, in Lima to George and Mary Tanner Parry, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 24, 1969, she married Karl D. Salisbury, who died Aug. 31, 2012.

Mrs. Salisbury was a 1967 graduate of Columbus Grove High School and received a degree in administrative business from Northwestern Business College, Lima. She worked at Wal-Mart, Ottawa, for the last 15 years, and had worked at Autumn Court Nursing Home, Ottawa, for more than 10 years. Her first job was with her husband at Village Pantry, Vaughnsville. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing, crossword puzzles and cooking. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and Jeff Gordon. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include three sons, Steve Salisbury and Scott Salisbury, both of Ottawa, and Dennis (Jennifer) Salisbury, of Columbus Grove; a sister, Lynn (Howard) Turner, of Columbus; and six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob, Lydia, Lillian, Chloe and Quincy.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Geoff Eubank will officiate. Burial will be in Vaughnsville Cemetery, Vaughnsville.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
