ROUNDHEAD — Joydale Shipp 83 of Roundhead, Ohio passed away Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 11:43 a.m. at the Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton, Ohio.

She was born May 12, 1930 the daughter of the late Coda and Flossie (Neal) Turner. On November 9, 1962 she married Gary Neil Shipp and he passed away on January 8, 2012.

She is survived by a son, Robert Shipp of Lima, OH; daughters Julie (Dean) Dearth of Belle Center, OH and Paula Lepo (Fiance' Greg McKee) of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Chad Shipp, Chris (Tina) Lowry, Anna Lowry (Fiance' Dave Armour) , Luke (Janeen) Shipp, Aaron (Anna) Daniels, and Libby Shipp; a step grandson Joshua Dearth; 5 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild; brothers Norman (Patty) Turner of Kenton, OH and Melvin (Betty) Turner of Kenton, OH; and sister-in-law Roberta Turner of Kenton, OH.

She was preceded in death by a brother Myron "Jack" Turner who passed away on October 22, 2006.

Joydale worked for the Upper Scioto Valley Schools as a Teachers Aid and then retired as a Bank Teller working at Indian Lake. She was a graduate of Kenton Senior High School. Joydale was a member of the Roundhead United Methodist Church and the Homemakers Club.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Joydale Shipp will be held Saturday April 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roundhead United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Holbrook officiating the service. There will be visitation held one hour prior to the service at the church.

The SCHINDEWOLF STOUT CRATES FUNERAL HOME will be conducting the services at the church.
