LIMA — Sharon E. Craun, 68, passed away at 4:45 p.m. April 10, 2014 at the Lima Manor. She was born on March 29, 1946, in Lima, to Darwin and Ione Crowe VanSchoyck, who have preceded her in death.

She was a laundry attendant at the State of Ohio Prison System, she also worked at Sealts Dry Cleaning, Wackenhut Security, and then she worked as a prep cook at the Huddle. She truly looked forward to having her family get-togethers and baking for her family. She spent many evening on her back patio watching the birds, hummingbirds and squirrels. She loved working jigsaw puzzles, reading, and the companionship of her cocker spaniel, Mitzy. The light of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her lifelong partner, James W. "Jim" Reynolds, of Lima; three children, Tammy E. & Gerald "Tiny" Holbrook, Steven M. & Rhonda Hunt, and John P. "J.P." & Lori Hunt, all of Alger; three step-children, James & Sandy Reynolds Jr., of Lima, Jery Jo & Trent Cutlip, of Lima, and Quinton & Tracy Thornton, of Florida; 5 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, with twin great-granddaughters due in June; 4 brothers, Donnie VanSchoyck, of Findlay, Bill & Dianna VanSchoyck, of Lima, Jack & Michelle VanSchoyck, of Pennsylvania, Terry & Penny VanSchoyck, of Virginia; a sister, Cheryl & Jim Reynolds, of Coldwater.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John VanSchoyck and Mike VanSchoyck.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Michael Roose will officiate and interment will follow in Shawnee Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the . Condolences may be expressed at
