LIMA — Emma Louise Hutchins Taylor, age 68, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 28, 2014 at approximately 1:45 p.m. at Triumph Hospital in Lima.
She was born on January 30, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to Howard and Ruth Garner Hutchins, Sr., both parents preceded her in death.
She worked as a press operator at Trim Trends (Harvard Industries). She was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to cook, listen to gospel music and read her bible. She loved donating to children's charities.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, four daughters; Marilyn Hutchins of Charlotte, NC, Tina Hutchins and Ruth Yarbrough (Rick) both of Lima. Michelle Henderson (Leo) of Hinesville, GA. A granddaughter she raised; Dajue Newell of Lima. Ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Three brothers; Thomas Hutchins (Amida), Howard Hutchins, Jr. and Wiley Hutchins (Lovie) all of Lima. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three sons; Christopher Spencer Hutchins, Leonard Hutchins, Sr. and Stephen Hutchins. Three grandchildren and a brother; Arthur F. Henry.
Services will be held Monday, May 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Philippian Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. B. Lamont Monford, Sr., officiating.
Visitation/Wake Services will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Chapel Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. where the family will be present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
