NEW HAMPSHIRE — Lester C. Spring, age 75 of New Hampshire, died at 5:45 am Friday, June 13, 2014, at his home.
He was born on June 20, 1938 in VanWert, OH to Leonard & Luetta (Wadsworth) Spring and they preceded him in death. On August 18, 1961 in Lake City, FL he married Alberta Roberts and she survives in Lakeview.
Other survivors include a daughter, Sandra (Larry) McLean, 3 brothers, Rulon (Belinda) Spring, Lakeview, Marvin (Pina) Spring, Huntsville, Norman (Danielle) Spring, Lakeview, 2 sisters, Janet Brugger, Englewood, Dinna Elrod, Russells Point, a sister in law, Carole Spring, Lewistown, 5 granddaughters, 18 great grandchildren, 1 uncle and 2 aunts, and several cousins.
Lester was a member of the Waynesfield Baptist Church, a US Navy Veteran, and a 1958 graduate of Stokes Local Schools. He retired from Accubuilt, Lima after 40 years of service with Accubuilt and Superior Coach (Shellar Globe Corporation). He was an avid coon hunter, and loved cutting wood. He enjoyed keeping in touch with his school classmates, and loved traveling.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 17th at the Waynesfield Baptist Church with Rev. Don Smith and Pam Spencer officiating. Millitary honors will be presented by the Auglaize County Honor Guard and the US Navy Honor Guard. Burial will follow at a later date.
Friends may call from 2-4&6-8 Monday at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield, and 1 hour prior to the services at the Church Tuesday.
