LIMA — Clement L. Nadolny, Jr., 91, of Lima, passed away at 7:59 PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born on April 21, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio to Clement L. and Hattie (Jankowski) Nadolny, Sr. who both preceded him in death. On May 17, 1947, he married his beloved wife, Rita Yager, who survives in Lima.

Clem served our country in WWII with the 735th Military Police Battalion stationed in the European Theatre. He was a salesman for McGranahan Distributing Company for over 28 years and retired in 1989. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church where he often helped in the sacristy. He was also a member of the Eagles Aerie 370, the Elks Lodge #54, the Knights of Columbus Loyalty Council #2661 and was a life member of the V.F.W. Post #1275. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He loved to sing and spend time with his family.

Surviving are his son John (Minette Sue) Nadolny of Lambertville, MI; his three grandchildren John (Tabatha), Ryan (Sarah) and Kellyn Nadolny; his seven special great granddaughters; his brother Richard (Betty) Nadolny of Sylvania, OH.

He was preceded in death by his brother Edwin Nadolny and his sister Beatrice Kummer.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 7, 2014 at St. Charles Catholic Church.

Entombment will be in the Gethsemani Cemetery Mausoleum where V.F.W. Post #1275 will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Church or St. Rita's Hospital.
