SPENCERVILLE — Marilyn J. Ladd, 66, of rural Spencerville, died Sunday morning, Aug. 10, 2014, at her residence due to a sudden illness.
She was born March 31, 1948, in Lima, the daughter of Maurice A. "Pete" and Myrtle R. Rahrig Louth, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, David A. (Viola Rosemarie Cox) Ford, of Lima, and Erik W. (Jenny Hirt) Ladd, of Spencerville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchilden; and three brothers, Bernard Louth, of Mendon, Larry Louth, of Celina, and Rex (Deb) Louth, of Cridersville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline L. "Jacki" Ford; an infant sister, Beverly Louth; and a brother, Dennis Louth.
Marilyn was a homemaker and had recently retired from the Kewpee Westside restaurant. She was a 1966 graduate of Spencerville High School. She enjoyed being with her family, garage sales, livestock shows and NASCAR dirt track races.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville.
