BARBARA OSTING
DELPHOS — Barbara A. Osting, 60, died March 9, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 16, 1953, to James and Rita McRedmond Miller, who preceded her in death. In 1975, she married Daniel Osting, who survives in Delphos. They had been together since she was 15 years old.
Mrs. Osting was a homemaker and had worked at Huffy, Teleflex and Rite Aid. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. She was an amazing wife and mother, who loved fishing and working outside. She had been a caregiver for her mother, who had lived with her for four years. She was always willing to help and was a person people would go to.
Survivors also include two sons, Jason J. Osting, of Landeck, and Aaron L. Osting, of Fort Jennings; a brother, Dennis (Karen) Miller, of Orlando, Fla.; three grandchildren, Lauren Neumeier Osting, Cody Osting and Ethan Osting; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Miller, of Fort Jennings.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Kenneth Miller.
Services will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. Father Charles Obinwa will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
