KENNETH ARNOLD
CAIRO — Kenneth R. "Kenny" Arnold, age 87, died at 7:05 p.m., on Tuesday July 14, 2015, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, Ohio.
He was born on February 15, 1928, in Beaverdam, Ohio to L.L. "Roy" and Lilly (Yant) Arnold. They both preceded him in death.
On December 17, 1949, he married Beverly McKinley, and she survives in Cairo.
Mr. Arnold attended Cairo Elementary School, and was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School. He had enjoyed playing baseball in school and with many of the area teams after graduation.
He was a life long farmer and had been a bus driver for both Columbus Grove and Bath School Systems. Kenny had also worked and retired from Monroe Township.
He was a member of the Cairo United Methodist Church, Cairo Sportsmen's Club , Cairo Community Club, Cairo Recreation Association and the Knights of the Golden Eagle Lodge, Cairo. He also had been a member of the Cairo Volunteer Fire Department. Kenny loved to attend all his grandchildren's activities.
He is survived by two sons: Jack (Joan) Arnold and William "Bill" (Julie) Arnold both of Cairo; and a daughter: Jill (special friend Darrel Buettner) Renner of Cairo; seven grandchildren: Traci (Bart) Wheeler, Jerrod (Adrian) Renner, Brian (Jodi) Arnold, Amy Arnold, Scott (Carrie) Arnold, Leslie (Travis) Jones and Ross (Sarah Kennedy) Arnold; 15 grandchildren: Delaney & Lauren Wheeler; Phoenix Renner, Avalon Nichols; Nolan Arnold; Kayla, Addison, Josey and Jacob Arnold; Camden Courtney, Connor and Cooper Arnold; Rilynn, Keagan and Declan Jones and his special cousin: Fred (Pat) Arnold.
He was preceded in death by: a son-in-law: Allan Renner; two brothers: Willis (Bettye) Arnold and Arthur (Erma) Arnold; his mother in-law: Evelyn Stalder and two brothers in-law: William McKinley and Douglas McKinley.
Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Ruth Ann Scoby will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park, Lima, Ohio.
Friends may call on Friday, July 17, 2015, from 2:00-8:00 p.m., at Hartman Sons Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cairo Volunteer Fire Department, Putnam County Hospice or Donor's Choice.

To Bev and all your beautiful family, I send our deepest sympathy from my whole family. We are scattered all over, so this comes from all of us.
