Zoe, Zan and Zack,
The memory of your dad's passing came up in my email today. Fond memories of his keen sense of humor. There always seemed to be a hit of mischief in his eyes and smile. As you remember your dad, may you know he was appreciated by many others. And whenever I see a scratch and sniff... of course I think of Howard! And now we are Reconciling Methodists. He would say perhaps, "What took you so long."

Saddened to see another one of our J. M. Holt families' parents leave us. Howard always had a smile and sparkle in his eyes - even when refereeing. Loved his joy for life and his care and compassion for all of us. He will be remembered and missed.

so so many memories at the Stroble homestead! Howard was an amazing man that put up with a lot of us girls for many years - even when he was gifted with a son later on....more girls showed up to play with Zack!
His only rule that I can remember was no dogs.....so instead they filled the home with every other creature....ducks, rabbits, squirrels......going there on Springhill was like going to a farm!
and now Alice and Howard are together again. We are all blessed for knowing them.
