ALBERT BELLOWS
LIMA — Albert "Don" Bellows, 71, passed away at 12:37 p.m., May 17, 2016, at Cleveland Clinic.
Don was born December 6, 1944 in Streator, IL, to Albert and Bernice (Lapp) Bellows who preceded him in death. On July 26, 1986 he married Cheryl Boughan who survives in Lima.
He was a 1963 graduate of Shawnee High School, a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of Elks # 54, International Union of Operating Engineers, and Past Commodore of Catawba West Harbor Yacht Club. He enjoyed watching the grandchildren in all their activities, deer and elk hunting in Colorado, and boating and fishing on Lake Erie.
Survivors include: 3 Sons, Shawn (Caroline) Bellows of Spencerville, Bryan (Fiancee' Jodi Alberalla) Bellows of Vail, CO, Doug (Chris) Sensibaugh of Solon, OH; 2 Daughters, Amy (Glenn) Knight and Cara (Trent) O'Brien both of Lima; 10 Grandchildren, Jake, Cole, Gage, and Yarmony Bellows, Ava Alberalla, John and Jane Sensibaugh, Aurora, Rhiannon, and Lillian Knight.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 23 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery with Military Rites provided by Spencerville VFW Post 6772.
Friends may call from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday and 10:00 am - 11:00 am Monday at Shawnee Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Cleveland Clinic, Attn: The Heart and Vascular Dept., P.O. Box 931517, Cleveland, OH, 44193.
