NORMA CROUCH
LIMA — Norma A. Crouch, age 84 of Lima, died at 11:13 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born April 22, 1932 in Van Wert, Ohio; to the late Emil K. and Minnie E. Goldsmith Feltner. She was married to Lee R. Crouch for over 54 years, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Crouch was a homemaker; enjoyed playing rummy, Yahtzee, play station games through the years and making crafts. Her hobbies included cooking and making homemade candies. Norma relaxed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She was a fan of Jeff Gordon and Phil Mickelson.
Survivors include a fiancé Robert 'Bob' Hanley of Belle Center, Oh; 2 sons - Richie (Judy) Crouch of Elida; Steve (Beth) Crouch of Cridersville; 2 daughters - Cheryl (Tom) Hughes of Lima; Vickie (Ronnie) Groves of Wapakoneta; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 sisters - Sarah M. Barnett of Lima; Ethel R. (Dante) Lippi of Lima; Charlotte L. (Gene) Stambaugh of Elida; Eileen J. Scheele of Lima; Louise J. (Harlan) Park of Hollywood, MD.
She was preceded in death by a grandson - Cody A. Dick; 3 sisters - Carol J. Feltner, Nellie Petree, and Inez Metzger.
Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 31, 2016 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Neal Whitney will officiate. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., Sunday, and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.

I was so saddened to hear of Norma's passing. Every time I think of her, I smile. She truly was a one of a kind, a force to be reckoned with. While we are all sad to see Norma go we also celebrate her life and the hope we have through our lord Jesus, as followers of Christ, that we will all be reunited some day in the presence of our Lord. I believe that Paul's teachings in 1 Thessalonians describes it best:
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Norma. I remember her so much from school, as one of our amazing room mothers, always at our parties, games, concerts. She was always supportive and so kind. I'm so very sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful person. She will be missed.
