D. Keith "Blackie" Williams

EMDEN - D. Keith "Blackie" Williams, 80, of Emden passed away Thurs-day, December 20, 2012, at 11:04 AM at Lincoln Christian Village in Lincoln.

He was born September 15, 1932, to Mike and Grace Simpson Williams.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Williams of Emden; five sons, James, Duane II, Brian, Scott and Korey Williams; three daughters, Ma-ria Smith, Kyle Wright and Stacy Dale; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchil-dren; two brothers, Perry and Michael Williams and one sister, Myrna Hawkins.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Darlene Zinser.

Keith was a professional painter for over 60 years. His passion was Falconry and he had attained the status of Master Falconer. He was a true outdoorsman.

He was a member of Prairie Bible Church in Delavan where his funeral will be at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Pastor Dan Larimore will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00-5:45 PM Wednesday, also at the church. Cremation will then be accorded and private burial of remains will be at a later date in Bethel Cemetery in rural Emden. Memorial contributions may be made to his church or his family.
