I just found out that Mike passed in 2014. Mike gave me a ride home to his house in 1972 when we both got out of the army. My dad picked me up at his house to take me home. We both flew in to New York on Xmas eve from Chicago in 1970. The sergeant told us to come back later because no one could register us in. We went to buffalo with another gi. For Xmas at his house and his parents let us call home. Mike was a good guy.

We got to know Mike when we owned The Brandt's Arcade Cafe. Mike was one of our happiest customers. He would give me a joke or a story, and than laugh. He will be missed by a lot of us.
