Robert K. Keck
MT. PULASKI - Robert K. Keck of Jekyll Island, Ga. passed away on November 20, 2011.
Mr. Keck was born on January 18, 1930 in Lincoln, IL, son of Robert S. and Amelia Buehler Keck. He joined the Navy in 1952 where he met and married his wife, Ann Linebaugh, on December 25, 1955 at Moffitt Field, California.
He was a teacher as well as a football, track and wrestling coach for 34 years at Illinois Wesleyan University. He loved his family, his golf game, the Chicago Cubs & Bears, traveling the world with his wife Ann and Illinois Wesleyan University.
He is survived by his wife, three children, Julie (Dave) King, Jeff Keck and Kathy (Norm) Larkins, three grandchildren, Mike King, Jane (Justin) Reckamp, Tom (Brittany) King and three great-grandchildren, Troy and Leo Reckamp and William King.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Bettie Taylor.
Visitation will be from 4-7pm Friday Dec. 9th, 2011 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski with a private family graveside at a later date in Mt. Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Coach Bob Keck Scholarship Fund at Illinois Wesleyan University at P.O. Box 2900 Bloomington, Il. 61702-2900.

Ann, I am in Seattle with Elizabeth for the holidays and will be unable to be with you at the visitation. But will be remembering the good times that John and Bob shared and your kindness to Liz when she came to ISU. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
