Roger was born on April 5, 1953 in Fukuoka, Japan and passed away at his home surrounded by his family on April 17, 2012.
The son of a military man, Roger moved from base to base across the world. At the age of 22, he met the love of his life, Lori, and was married in February 1978. He worked long and hard, took pride in his many businesses over the years. Later in life, he became a wonderful landscaper and gardener.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Lori, his son's, Ryan, Tim, and Daniel, his sister's Karyn Schnabel and Janet Martin, his daughter's-in-law Charity and Marina, his many nieces and nephews, and of course, the apples of his eye, his six grandchildren, Roman, Jackson, Carson, Madison, Logan, and Koltan. Roger will be remembered as a man who was kind of heart, who cared and wanted everyone to feel like they belonged; that they were welcome.
Per the family's request, there are no services at this time. Arrangements under the direction of Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses, Roseville, Calif., (916) 783-7171.
