Elizabeth (Liz) Ann DeLuca, 66, of Bedford, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at her home. She was born October 2, 1946 in White Plains, NY, a daughter of the late Charles and Marie Doyle. She graduated from White Plains Hospital School of Nursing in 1967 with an RN degree where she worked until she left to raise a family.

Liz is survived by her loving husband, Vincent, whom she married in 1968; daughter Janice Gregerick and husband Michael of Bristol, CT; son Paul and wife Nancy of Newtown, CT; sister Mary Milo and husband Robert of Bedford, NY; sister-in-law Rebecca Doyle of Troy, OH; niece, nephews and many friends.
She was a long time resident of New Milford, CT where she later rejoined the work force in the accounting field and worked locally for two accountants. After retirement, Liz and Vin moved to Bedford, Virginia to enjoy their time together.
Liz was a quiet, soft spoken person who always found the good in every person and situation. She impacted those around her in a positive way, not only by her words, but also by her actions. She dealt with serious medical problems throughout her life, yet always focused on the positive aspects of life. She was a very special lady and will be truly missed by her friends and family. Those that knew her were honored to be part of her life.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Thursday, November 29 at Colonial Funeral Home, 87 Park Lane Rd., New Milford, CT.
