DORA MAE Passed away December 28, 2016 at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late William John Jr. Beloved mother of Shelley Winters, Tamara (Terry Frith) Winters, Wendy (Allen) McCrorey, William (Susan) Winters, and Jason (Julie) Winters. Dear grandmother of Jackie (Tyler) Carmicheal, Amanda (Eric) Levine, Christine McCrorey, Lindsey Winters, Rachel Winters, William Winters IV, Natalie Winters, and Grace Winters. Dear sister of Harriet (Jack) Totten and the late Laura Minch. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 30 at 12 p.m., with gathering beginning at 10 a.m., at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Shelley, I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. We shared many thoughts about dealing with and watching our mothers in their passage through this last stage of their lives. My mother is still hanging in there, but continues to lose ground. You remain my model of passing through this rough time. I am thinking of your family and you in your loss.
