Bal, Diana J.  
Diana J Bal was 65 of Acampo passed away at home on Friday after a long battle with Cancer.  She was born Diana Jean Rosin on February 18, 1951 in Grants Pass Oregon. Diana was raised in Brownsville and Winston Oregon and later moved to Stockton.  Diana married the love of her life, Edward at Rough and Ready Island on September 6, 1969.  They moved to San Diego where Edward was in the US Navy and stationed on the USS Tulare.  After their first daughter was born, the two moved back to the Stockton area and in 1976 moved to their current home in Acampo.  In addition to being a wife and mother to two daughters, Diana was also the Owner and Administrator for Lodi Home Care Connection, Inc. and Lodi Hospice Inc. for over 20 years.  Her greatest love was her family, traveling with her husband, arts and crafts, cooking and her extraordinary efforts to make a difference for others. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, aunt, sister and friend.  Diana is preceded by her parent Jacqueline and Emil Rosin.  She is survived by her husband Edward Bal of Acampo, two daughters, Melissa Lucero of Acampo and Tressa Valdez of Sunnyvale, five grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Jon, Logan and Breanna, five great grandchildren, Jacob, Dominic, Casey, Ryan and Conner. Service will be held at the Cherokee Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Chapel of the Flowers with Graveside Services to follow on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.  There will be no visitation prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to American Cancer Society in memory of Diana J. Bal.

Bossert, Dorothy  
Dorothy Olsen Bossert, 86, passed away from natural causes on April 20, 2016, in Merced, California. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Raymond E. Bossert, Sr. and her youngest son, Richard Donald Bossert. Dorothy is survived by her oldest son, Raymond E. Bossert, Jr., his wife, Carol Bossert of Merced, her granddaughters, Nicole Bossert of Highland, CA and Sarah Castillo of Merced, her great grandson, Andrew Shabazz of Merced, and her daughter-in-law, Debbie Bossert of Clements. There will not be any services. The family would like to thank the staff at Franciscan Convalescent Hospital and Bristol Hospice for their continuous service and support.
