Whinery, LaVonne Renee (Herman)  
LaVonne Renee Whinery (Herman) April 07, 1949 succumbed to lung disease on November 26, 2014 in La Pine, Oregon. LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Dorothy (Ring) Herman, and is survived by her son Jerry (Lori), and grandson. In her youth LaVonne listened to the radio with her brother Jim Herman and sister Wanda Hancock. LaVonne had a great sense of humor, filling the room with laughter. LaVonne loved to crochet, work in her yard and dabble in interior decorating. LaVonne was a successful beautician and operated her own beauty shop before obtaining her license in medical insurance. For everyone that knew her, she left footprints in their hearts. Wilkerson, Cheryl Lynn  
Cheryl Lynn Wilkerson, 57, left us on January 9, 2015, after battling breast cancer, with her family by her side. On August 5, 1957, Cheryl was born in Lodi, California, to John & Gladys Lehr. Her father was a cattle rancher and grape farmer in Acampo, California and her mother worked at Tri Valley Growers cannery in Lodi, California. Cheryl graduated from Lodi High school in 1976. That same year she met Bob Wilkerson, to whom she was married in 1979 in Galt, California. Cheryl gave birth to her first child, Bobby Wilkerson, in 1983. She then welcomed daughter, Jessica Wilkerson Peluso, in 1988. On December 4, 2014, Cheryl celebrated her 30 year anniversary working with Blue Shield of California, where she made many friends who would become like family to her. Cheryl was devoted to her family. Her children were her life and she loved spending time with family & taking in every moment with her first grandchild, Nathan Ryan Wilkerson, born to son, Bobby, and Lacey Edalgo. Cheryl will be missed by her husband of 35 years, Bob Wilkerson; her son and significant other, Bobby Wilkerson & Lacey Edalgo; her daughter and spouse, Jessica & Matthew Peluso; and grandson, Nathan Wilkerson. She also leaves behind her siblings; her brother and spouse, Ted & Becky Lehr; brother, Bryan Lehr; sisters and spouses, Kathy & Mack Garrett, Diane & Randy Scott; and sister, Belinda Lehr. Her parents, John & Gladys Lehr, precede her in passing. Visitation will be held from 12pm to 8pm, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, Ca 95240. A Celebration of Cheryl's Life will be held at 11am, Friday, January 16, 2015, at Vinewood Community Church, 1900 W. Vine St., Lodi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society In Cheryl's name. Interment will be private by family at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi. Wininger, Edsel "Eddie"  
Edsel passed away peacefully at his home in Galt, on Christmas morning Dec. 25, 2014, from a long term illness. Eddie was born Dec. 8, 1932 in Monroe, LA. As a young man. he worked at his father's mill. After graduating high school in 1951 he joined the Air Force. He travelled to Korea, Guam & Japan and finally stationed at Travis Air Force Base. He met and married Roberta Combs in 1955. Eddie attended Delta College and received his AA while working at Super Mold in Stockton and began his career as a Building Contractor. He loved building custom homes. He enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing and cross country skiing. He was a Master Craftsman and loved woodworking. Edsel was also a Deacon at the Church of Christ in Lodi for many years. He is preceded in death by his daughter Sharon Siefried of Lockeford, brother Edward Wininger of Memphis, TN and parents Buford & Emmie Opal of Louisiana and 2nd wife Trudy of Sacramento. Survived by his daughter Kathy Wininger of Galt, Mark Wininger of Galt. Roberta Wininger, his first wife, brother Louie Wininger of Dora, MO, sister Allison of W. Memphis, AR, sister Darlene Carter, Memphis, TN and 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Plus many more cousins, nieces and nephews. He had a very large family whom he loved and will miss him very much. Please come celebrate the life of Edsel Wininger, on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Hinkles Home, 16634 N. Alpine Rd., Lodi CA.
