Brenneise, Ehud "Ed"  
Ehud (Ed) Brenneise died in Lodi, California on April 27 at the age of 92. ?He is survived by his sister Edna Gill of Eureka, South Dakota, daughter Linda & husband Ed Mack (Denver), son Harvey Brenneise (Seattle) and daughter Carmen Brenneise (Cameron Park), 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Verna and brother Arthur Brenneise. ?Ed was born on September 20, 1923 in Eureka, South Dakota to Jacob and Christina Brenneise. His college education at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska was interrupted by World War II where he served in England and France in various medical services. In 1946 following discharge from the Army and marriage to Verna Renschler, the couple settled in Mountain View where he worked for 32 years as a printer at the Pacific Press. One of his great passions was traveling the world with Verna, visiting all seven continents and sailing the seven seas. ?A memorial service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Sunday May 22 at Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ed's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the worthy student fund at Fairmont SDA Church, 730 S Fairmont Ave, Lodi, CA 95240. Arrangements are being handled by Cherokee Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
