Donald Fred Zeissler, 78, passed away December 16, 2012 of complications from pneumonia. He was born March 28,1934 in Golden Valley, North Dakota. He was the third child of Joseph and Hazel Zeissler, brother to Nora Spitzer and Alvin Zeissler. They moved to Lodi soon after Don was born. He graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1952 and has attended most of the school reunions. After graduation he joined the Air Force and served for four years. When he returned from the service he was hired by Pacific Bell Telephone Co. in Sacramento where he retired after 35 years.
On May 28,1955 he married his High School sweetheart, Patsy Reimche and together they had three children Debra Compton, Mark Zeissler and Ty Zeissler.
In Don's earlier years he enjoyed coaching his son's Little League teams. He raced Motocross and also raced and built cars for the drag strip.
Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Celebration of the Life of Donald Zeissler will be held at 12 noon on May 19, 2013 at The Oak Grove Regional Park Boat House, 4520 W. Eight Mile Rd, Stockton Ca.
