June Gayle Silveira, 92, of Lodi died July 19, 2013, in Lodi surrounded by her family. She was born on August 1, 1920, in Watford City, North Dakota to Ernest Peter Campbell and Ada Clara Brown. June grew up in Watford City and moved to Lodi in 1939. In those early years she worked for Rummel's, Newfield's, and "Karen's" Richmaid. June married Frank Anthony Silveira on February 6, 1949, at St. Anne's Church in Lodi. June was a happily married homemaker for 64 years. One of June's greatest joys, besides her family, was her church; the United Congregational Christian Church in Lodi. She actively participated in groups and prayer until health prevented her from doing so. Her love of flowers led her to membership for several decades in the Lodi Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, Frank Anthony Silveira; grandchildren, Lyne Millett of Lodi, CA and Carri (Thomas) Howard of Reno, Nevada; great-grandchildren, Morgan (Austin) Larick of Chualar, CA, Scott Millett of Lodi, and Mckenzi Jones of Reno, Nevada; and great-great grandchildren, Adelheid Larick and Gunnar Larick both of Chualar, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her parents her son, Bruce Bossart; sisters, Phyllis Walz, Bonnie Werner, Echo Kennedy; and four brothers, Duncan Campbell, Jack Campbell, Gene Campbell, and Ernest Campbell. Friends are invited to visit Friday, July 26, 2013, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 27, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 South Fairmont Avenue, Lodi, CA 95240. Burial will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Congregational Christian Church, 701 S. Hutchins Street, Lodi, CA 95240. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
